I just like taking photos. It started as a way to save moments I thought were worth remembering, but now I'll pretty much take a picture of anything that looks cool. I don't really post them anywhere, most of my photos are of my dog Goku and his 'fnrd' Chiku. I'll also take photos of the sky, clouds, random places, cars, or anything that looks like it could be an album cover. Sometimes I'll take a photo just because it reminds me of a song I'm listening to. I mostly shoot on a phone camera and don't do much editing. If something looks good, I take a picture and move on.

Music isn't really a hobby for me, it's just something I've had around for most of my life. I've been listening since 4th grade, when I found Akon's Lonely, and I've been going down the rabbit hole ever since. I usually call rap 'slam poetry' because I like the genre a lot more than the weird connotations people sometimes attach to the word rap. Nowadays I mostly listen to sample-heavy underground drumless rap and alt rap, but I'm always going back to older stuff too. I spend a stupid amount of time listening to albums, annotating lyrics on Genius, and arguing about music on Album of the Year. I care about production, samples, lyrics, storytelling, and how an album works as a whole, so I end up noticing way too many little things. I also try making music myself, mostly soul-sampled beats, although listening to music is definitely something I'm better at than making it. I don't consider myself a professional critic or musician. I just really like music, have a lot of opinions about it, and enjoy finding something that makes me want to listen to it again immediately

Debating is something I got into because I like arguing about ideas, especially when I don't agree with them. I've done formal debates in school, but most of the time I just enjoy having long conversations about things where nobody can agree on a simple answer. I like having my views challenged and trying to defend them without turning it into an argument with the person. I'm also pretty comfortable changing my mind if someone actually gives me a good reason to. For me, the fun isn't really about winning. It's about picking apart an idea, seeing where it holds up, and sometimes realizing I was completely wrong. No picutre for this so heres my dog and his frnd

Philosophy and theology are pretty new interests for me, but I've gotten really into both. I'm mostly interested in the big questions that don't have an easy answer, like what makes something right or wrong, how we know what we know, why we believe the things we do, and where faith fits into all of that. Im still pretty new to it, so I spend a lot of time just reading different perspectives and trying to understand arguments that I dont necessarily agree with. I dont really have a set position on most things yet, and honestly thats part of what makes it interesting. Right now Im mostly just trying to learn, ask better questions, and figure out what I actually think.What im currently reading btw
